I have always relied on textbooks and talking to cops and my friend who is a doctor to get the details straight. I could not put this book down in the last pages. I’m just – I’m feeling sick and I want to cry.

Who is taking them? Natalie Ross was excellent with both male and female voices.
Things go like this: This is back-breaking and to someone like me who has a bit of a problem with patience, mind-numbing. I think of all of them that Sara is usually my favorite, though. I really like Will Trent a lot.
Faith really shined in this one. A mate is supposed to build up, not tear down. The character development is extensive and thoughtful. She has moved to Atlanta. The work people do there is horrible and soul-taxing and so necessary. Normally I eschew books with such graphic descriptions of torture and abuse. Yes, she wanted to have sex with him before their argument.
But I guess she didn’t get that high up the ladder in what, in reality, is a “man’s world. She is on duty when the naked, tortured woman is brought in for treatment.

There were others parts as well that were tough to take. Slaughter, I am learning, is an expert at leading her readers in so many directions–all connected, yet separate– that during “Undone”, at one time or another, I was SURE that everyone but the cops was the “guy who did it”. I said before that I understood the need to picture karih realistic world. What drew you to writing in this genre?
There are a lot of religious connotations also, which were interesting. I don’t like her. She also has a past that haunts her.
