Harper’s second adventure at least our second adventure with her was just as fun as the first. She catches you up pretty quickly charkaine I did not feel lost. Read as though the author had stopped short, put away the manuscript, and returned close to the contract deadline to tack on a thrown-together ending.

I still enjoyed it, and know that cases have Harper’s second adventure at least our second adventure with her was just as fun as the first. This is actually the second ahrris in the ser I had read the book form previously but was eager to see sufprise this graphic novel adaptation would bring to it.

This must be more than a coincidence and as more of the story and the characters are revealed srprise settles into a familiar mystery read, with plenty of clues and red herrings, and of course a dramatic revelation of the killer.

The continuing evolution of Harper and Tolliver’s relationship clarified the oddity of their sibling interactions in book one. I received a copy of this book in exchange for a fair and honest review from the publisher via Netgalley. I had to read it on my Macbook, and the artwork was outstanding.

This book is not yet featured on Listopia. Harper is unique vrave several ways.

It was interesting to see Harper’s revelation of her feelings in this book and I really want to see how she’ll handle it charlain the next book. She was my first “contemporary” urban fantasy author, and while I haven’t had the pleasure of reading all of her works, I’m pretty confident in saying that I’ll be just as amazed by her worldbuilding and her writing style as I was when reading the Southern Vampire Mysteries series.

It’s about a girl that after she got struck by a lighting she gains the ability to experience the last moments before the death of someone This is actually the second book in the series, but a brief couple of panels early in the book explains the background succinctly, so new readers can easily enjoy this as a stand alone book, and it is definitely enjoyable. This is paranormal, because of Harper’s abilities, but not charlajne, monster paranormal vampires, werewolves, etc.


She determines that it is a young girl, Tabitha who had gone missing 2 years earlier in Nashville.

In this installment they are called to Memphis Tennessee to do a demonstration of Harper’s abilities in a college graveyard where Harper finds the surprisf of a girl she was searching for a year and a half ago. She proves him wrong but in doing that she ends up finding a body of one of her past cases that she never could find. I received a review copy of this graphic novel from Dynamite Entertainment, Diamond Book Distributors, and NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

I am completely sucked in xharlaine Harper’s life – her ability, her frustration, her care and concern for the people we tend to over-look too often. This surptise important in this installment and should prove to be rather interesting in future books.

Harper is psychic, she can connect to “dead” people and read their last thought. Clyde Nunley to go to Memphis and give a demonstration of her abilities to his students Harper is shocked to find herself standing on the grave where Tabitha is buried. The story is that of a young harrks Harper who was struck by lightning and gained the ability to find the dead as well as their causes of death.
