We have a group that meets about once a undermountani and used this adventure recently and was very pleased.

This content is really very good and does a great job of making this more of a story and dynamic adventure and less of a boring dungeon crawl.

In addition, this book provides e4 the ingredients to run a classic dungeon delve, including enticing treasures, deadly traps, a wide assortment of monsters, and two double-sided full-color poster maps. The artwork is incredibly well-done and appears to be many new illustrations specifically designed for the adventure setting. The original boxed product contained three adventures, plus pages more material and maps of not just one, but four levels of the Undermountain.

It isn’t the largest supplement, but it does a fantastic job of laying udermountain the 1st level of Undermountain. Without going into full details about the adventures, and to avoid any chance of spoilers, what I can say is that the three adventures are fairly comprehensive crawls, with a mixture of combat encounters, exploration of areas, obstacles and traps to overcome, and mysterious magical phenomena to puzzle out.

I would undermojntain you a link, I am however on my phone. DM’s that have run “Halls of Undermountain” Some of my players seemed to think that 4th edition’s undermountain is deadlier than earlier versions, but that is totally not the case.

The book covers only the classic undefmountain level of Undermountain, providing content for 79 different rooms. Also, while this supplement is designed for levelsit can easily be adjusted to fit any level. Having just read the terrific Neverwinter Ha,ls Setting supplement, I was expecting WotC to come with something way more epic from ‘the greatest dungeon of them all’.

On the flip side is a fully detailed map of the Yawning Portal, the famed tavern with an entrance into the Undermountain.
